Adding your first Item in Britecheck is a first step toward a well-managed system. It is easy quite easy to do on both the web and mobile systems:
WEB
1. To add an Item in Britecheck, first of all you would need to choose a warehouse (detailed information about warehouse management can be obtained from How to manage multiple Locations in Britecheck Inventory article) you will need to go to the Inventory tab, locating to the left side of the screen.
2. Once you click on this tab, the main management panel will be displayed. At the top left section of the panel you will see +Add Item icon. What is left to do is to click on that icon to create a new Item.
3. Once you click on +Add Item icon, you should land on a page where you will be able to add the detailed description of the Item:
The above image shows the default parameters added to the system that you can use to add details about the Item:
- Item Name - name of the Item that you would like to use in your inventory;
- Quantity - number of Items in stock;
- Price - selling price per Item;
- Value - market value of the Item;
- Weight - weight of the Item (could be set in kilograms, grams, pounds or fluid ounces)
- Dimensions - dimensions of the Item (could be set in centimeters or inches)
- Notes - any additional information about the Item that you think is important;
- Photos - images of the imet (up to 5 photos could be added to the Item for reference);
- QR / Barcode - QR- or Barcode to automate your Inventory
4. Once you have added all the information that you would like to see in Item's description, you can click on Save Item button at the bottom of the page to save made changes.

MOBILE
To add a new Item to the system via mobile application, simply click on + button in the lower right corner of the screen.

Then fill in information about the item.

The above images show the default parameters added to the system that you can use to add details about the Item:
- Item Name - name of the Item that you would like to use in your inventory;
- Price - selling price per Item;
- Quantity - number of Items in stock;
- Notes / Description - any additional information about the Item that you think is important;
- Sku - Item's identification number.
Once you have added all the information that you would like to see in Item's description, you can click on Save & Close button at the bottom of the page to save made changes. If you would like to save the added Item and start adding new one, click on Save & New button.
This is it! That's how simple you could add a new Item to your Britecheck inventory.
